For 92% of the patients who have tried cannabis for chronic pain, arthritis, migraines and other problems caused by cancer, the medical marijuana works and makes them feel better.
This is the result of a survey conducted by the California Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, on a group of 7,525 adults surveyed by the Public Health Institute in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A few months the "New England Journal of Medicine" had published a survey that reported that nearly 8 out of 10 doctors say they approve the use of medical marijuana in their therapies and even recommend it for patients who don’t respond well at traditional therapies.
Now the ball is passed to patients and the result obtained with an amble sample leaves no room for interpretation. According to the authors of the study, the results support the idea that cannabis is not only used by a specific group of patients: are noticed similar employment rates between men and women, but adults and young adultsare the most likely to use it. Even a small differences between different ethnic groups can be noticed, although the authors point out that the absolute difference is less than three percentage points, and it does not matter in practical terms. If your doctor recommends medical cannabis, you can buy here the right product for you.
